More than fifty years ago two educators at the University of Chicago launched the Great Books movement. Today there are more than 850 groups meeting in homes and libraries across the country, with thousands of adult participants. Shakespeare Allowed
If you’ve ever wanted to say “yeah, I’ve read all of Shakespeare’s plays,” here's your chance to achieve that lofty goal! Nashville Public Library and the Nashville Shakespeare Festival invite you to read Shakespeare out loud in a reading circle! There will be 12 chairs in a circle and whoever wants to participate will take a seat. Additional seating available for anyone who wants to read along silently. All voices, all dialects welcomed!
