Southeast Branch is located one mile east of Hickory Hollow Mall, on the left side of Bell road if you are driving from the mall or I-24. If you are coming from Murfreesboro Road, go past Ezell-Harding School, on your left proceed another quarter mile to Hickory Highlands Drive on your right (look for the teal roof!). We are directly across the road from the Autumnwood Apartments.

Branch History

Southeast Branch opened January 25, 1992. The 17th and largest branch in the library system when it opened, Southeast was the first branch to have a Young Adult Librarian and the first to open with computers, not a card catalog. The design features a cupola, opaque windows and natural oak furniture.
