The Library is one of the few accessible places in Nashville which provides the public computers and Wi-Fi for those who do not have this technology at home.
But what about folks in our community who don’t know how awesome being online can be? Or where to find the computer classes which will change their lives?
Studio NPL, the Library's innovative teen technology program, hosted a PSA video contest to help get the word out. Teens living in Nashville/Davidson County were invited to create a Public Service Announcement which shows adults the benefits of being online. First Place was awarded to Leah Faulkner, a rising Junior at Hume Fogg. This project was her first video project and has inspired her to continue on the path of film making.
