On June 9^th, Filmmaker William D. Wittliff, who wrote the screenplays for Lonesome Dove,  Barbarosa, Legends of the Fall, and a 2018 Movies @ Main feature The Black Stallion, sadly passed away.  I had the pleasure of speaking to him last year. In his honor, I offer the interview for your enjoyment.
