In this episode, Bassam and Lana talk with Milly Roze about sound healing, musicianship struggles, and how music can affect mental health. 

Milly Roze is a musician, singer, producer and vibrational sound healer with a bachelors degree in music engineering. 

Since racking up over 1 million global streams on her 2016 single ‘Lonely Summer’, which charted on Spotify’s global viral 50, rising pop/R&B singer-songwriter and producer Milly Roze is set to dazzle fans. 

Using sound healing techniques, singing bowls and frequencies of emotion, Milly creates experiences for her listener. Raised in Nashville, with Korean, African American and American heritage, Milly Roze values her roots. Now, Milly has guided hundreds of individuals with sound bath classes in Nashville, helping anchor peace for others through sound and music. 

Milly Roze also records, produces and mixes her own material, often showcasing behind-the-scenes sessions at her home studio. In 2021, Milly released a self produced EP called, The Garden. Join Milly for a sound healing, hear her sing at a show, or stream her music online.

2024 Adult Education Spring Summit and Adult Educator of the Year

May 15, 2024 Marked the 8th Annual Adult Education Spring Summit! This is a free professional conference for adult education providers, administrators, and students at the Main Branch of Nashville Public Library. This event is able to be held each year through generous donations from the Nashville Public Library Foundation and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, wherein the Adult Educator of the Year for Davidson County is recognized and offered a minigrant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
