Access/Restrictions

You can use Transparent Language online with or without an account. If you choose to use an account, you'll have a record of the classes you've taken. If you use as a guest, you an access lessons but your progress won't be saved. 

To use Transparent Language, you will need:

  • Library Card
  • Email Address (optional, but recommended)
  • Transparent Language Account (optional, but recommended)

Use Transparent Language Online (Website)

Use with an account:

  1. Go to the Transparent Language website (click Access above). 
  2. Click the "sign up" link.
  3. Fill out the registration form. 
  4. Select a language and start learning. 

Use without an account: 

  1. Go to the Transparent Language website (click Access above). 
  2. Click the "continue as a guest" link (it's under the login button). 
  3. Select a language and start learning. 

Use the Transparent Language App

To use the app with an account, you have to register on the website, then log in to the app.

  1. Sign up for a free account:
    1. Go to the Transparent Language website (click Access above). 
    2. Click the "sign up" link.
    3. Fill out the registration form. 
    4. Save your login information. You'll need it to log in to the app. 
  2. Use the Transparent Language app:
    1. Download the free Transparent Language app from the app store for your device.
    2. Open the app.
    3. Click the login button.
    4. Type your username and password.
    5. Select a language and start learning.
