Surfing the Web Safely

September 5, 2025

The internet can be a great thing when used safely. NPL has great resources to help you, your child, or family surf the web while avoiding traps and reducing personal exposure.

Digital Literacy

Digital Literacy

NPL Digital Learn offers several videos that teach you digital literacy skills such as how to navigate a website, create an email, maintain privacy on the internet, how to use cloud storage, online job searching, and a whole lot more.

GCF Learning

GCF Global is full of fast-paced courses designed to help you thrive in the 21st century. Courses I have found the most useful focus on Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel (especially when it comes to creating/using formulas), and PowerPoint.

LinkedIn Learning

Linkedin Learning which I have featured before, uses micro-learning (short videos) to introduce and teach various subjects. The lessons on how to use A.I. responsibly, safely, and ethically are winners in my book. The lessons taught by Tiffany Xingyu Wang and Sammy Deprez are definitely not to be skipped.
