
Service Updates
Beginning Wednesday, April 14, Bordeaux and Edmondson Pike open their doors, joining Madison and Southeast Branch Libraries and the Main Library for Phase 2 in-person service.
These locations are open with limited building capacities to ensure sufficient space for social distancing. We will welcome customers into additional locations in the coming weeks. Watch for announcements about your local library location.
Update on mask-wearing protocols: in line with Metro Government ordinances, NPL has moved to requiring masks for library visitors ages 12 and up (previously ages 2 and up).

The Main Library will cease curbside service and offer lobby pickup instead.

Guidelines
- Please refrain from visiting NPL if you:
- have been feeling ill
- have come into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19
- Masks must be worn at all times by everyone ages 12 and older.
- Maintain at least six feet of distance between yourself and other visitors and staff.
- For public computer use, please use provided disinfectant wipes to wipe down keyboard, mouse, and station area before and after use.
- Please leave promptly when your library business is complete, to minimize risk and to allow others to enter. Kindly do not linger.
For Safety, Still-Suspended Services Include
- In-person programs and events
- Public meeting rooms at all locations
- Study rooms at all locations (except the Main Library)
- Teen centers/Studio NPL locations (except the Main Library)
- Copy machines
- Toys, games, climbing structures, and other interactive items
